Welcome to Lumelo (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). We understand the importance of your personal information and are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.

Please read this policy carefully before using the App.

2. About the App

Lumelo is a personal studio management tool designed for cold-process soap makers. Its core features include:

• Bench — Track active soap batches and monitor curing progress
• Formulas — Save and scale cold-process soap recipes with oil blends, lye, and water ratios
• Stock — Manage ingredient inventory with expiry alerts and low-stock warnings
• Signals — View studio health metrics and get notified when batches are ready for readiness checks
• Batch Photo — Take photos of soap batches to visually record curing progress over time
• Voice Notes — Use voice-to-text to dictate maker notes hands-free while working in the studio

3. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information.

All data in the App is stored locally on your device using a SQLite database. Specifically:

• We do not collect personal identifiable information (such as name, email, or phone number)
• We do not collect device information (such as device model or OS version)
• We do not collect location data
• We do not collect usage behavior data or analytics logs
• We do not use any third-party analytics tools
• We do not integrate any advertising SDKs
• Photos taken within the App are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server
• Voice input is processed on-device by the system speech recognition engine; audio data is not recorded, stored, or transmitted by Lumelo

4. Data Storage

All data you enter in the App (including formulas, batch records, stock information, photos, and text notes) is stored entirely in a local database and the App's private document directory on your device.

• Data is never uploaded to any server
• Data is not synced between devices
• Data is not shared with any third party
• Photos are saved to the App's sandboxed storage and are not accessible to other apps

If you uninstall the App or clear its data, all locally stored information (including photos) will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

5. Network Access

The App does not require an internet connection to function. It does not make any network requests or communicate with external servers.

6. Account Registration

The App does not require account registration or login. It is ready to use immediately upon installation.

7. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools. Your data is never shared with any third party.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not designed for children under 13. Since the App does not collect any personal information, there is no possibility of collecting data from minors.

9. Permissions

The App requests the following permissions, each used solely for the stated purpose:

• Local Storage — Used to store the SQLite database file and batch photos on your device
• Camera — Used exclusively to photograph soap batches for tracking curing appearance within the App. This permission is requested only when you tap the camera button in a batch detail. Photos are stored locally and are never uploaded to any server or shared with any third party.
• Microphone & Speech Recognition — Used exclusively to convert spoken words into text for note-taking convenience while working in the soap-making studio. This permission is requested only when you tap the voice input button. Audio is processed in real-time by the operating system's built-in speech recognition engine (Apple Speech Framework) and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted by Lumelo.

You may deny or revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device Settings. The App will continue to function normally without them; only the camera and voice input features will be unavailable.

10. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, we will notify you through an App update. The revised policy will take effect from the date of publication.

If changes involve significant modifications to data handling practices, we will provide a prominent notice within the App.

11. Your Rights

Since the App does not collect any personal information, there are no data subject rights to exercise (such as access, correction, or deletion requests). You can remove all local data at any time by deleting the App from your device.
